Wanted to post this earlier but ended up logging off and just taking a nap.
I have cold medicine in me (and in two more hours I can take more) and so I am feeling a bit better.
This is the top. I had to re-seam the shoulders because they began to rip so it looks kind of janky. This is the inside-out side because I accidentally put the wrong sides facing out when seaming. I need to fix / cut the loop you see at the bottom. That was crocheted in because it was part of the join of the skein (When a company joins more yarn to make a full skein, or there is a jam in the skein-ing process) and I thought this would be the inside so didn't worry about it before.
Keep your fingers crossed. I have an opportunity to earn $300 just petsitting for a week. There's a chance the dog won't like me (he is, in the words of a friend, "a psycho"), but I am usually very good with animals.
I don't really want to spend a week at a house owned by a friend's relative, but $300 is hard to pass up.

Yeah, I can't say I blame you.d Both for living in a stranger's home for a week, And the passing of the easy 300. We could all use a little money.

The pet sitting gig sounds great. I would love to watch a dog for a week. I'm doing OK. Hanging in there. Your top is so nice.

The petsitting sounds like a nice job for a week...as long as you and the dog can get along!

Ah, hope this cold thing goes away completely very soon - good that you are feeling a bit better after some rest. I hope the reseaming and fixing isn't too much work - but looks good to me! 300 
- well, for that I would definitely find a way to make a psycho dog like me

The top looks better than you think it does.
Pretty used to pet-sit for people when she was in college and liked it. I hope the job goes well for you. $300 is hard to pass up for a week of playing with someone's pooch.
Were you drunk on cold medicine when you wrote this? I'm just curious...

Haha, nope wasn't drunk on cold medicine at that time. Or atleast i don't think so.

@ScribbledAdNauseum I never asked her how much she got paid. She was a grown-up, so it wasn't my business.
OH! Unemployment called and said they should be releasing my money this month to me. (Nice of them to wait until I'd started my new job. *sigh* I wanted to take off for the next year, at least.)
