Welcome to another good news story from Cedar Falls Iowa where several children opened a lemonade stand to raise money for a four year old child named Kase who is battling cancer. A few Cedar Falls Police Officers came to visit the children at their parents home last Thursday to see how they could assist the children in raising money for the medical expenses for Kane. After the brief conversation with the children that ran the lemonade stand, the police officers decided to have a chat with the parents of the children to find out how much money had been raised to assist Kane with his cancer treatments. When the parents of the children told the police officers that they had raised around $320 dollars as of Friday. The police officers decided to double the money that was raised for the medical treatment of Kane to a total of $640 dollars which made the children who are running the lemonade stand very happy as well as their parents. My hope is that Kane whose gender was not mentioned in the story will be able to make a full recovery from his battle with cancer.
