The Conspiracy of MANIFEST (a slight SPOILER, but only to set up a Fan-Theory/Elseworld)

You know NBC's *MANIFEST* (the first two seasons showing (and now the third) on NETFLIX)---it's the story of 'the passengers of Flight 828,' a plane that was flying through a storm, blinked out of existence for 5-and-a-half years & blinked right back into existence with all the passengers not even aware that time passed for everybody else. The passengers keep getting these crazy hallucinations--each usually coupled with the vague instruction to "SAVE 'SOMEBODY' (HIM or HER or THEM... like you see in the picture)"--which they call "Callings." Each of The Callings helps The Passengers 'save somebody,' but they're usually 'saving themselves' from a situation that 'following The Calling' puts them in! In the latest episode I've seen so far (trying to limit myself to about 1 episode a day), the two passengers with the strongest Callings have started to see a trio of Looming Shadows ... spooky ... I guess I am wondering what your theory is/would-be---are The Callings a force for Good? or are they a sneaky Force for evil, luring The Passengers into a sense of false security?

I just watched season 1 and almost all of season 2. I stopped maybe three episodes before the season 2 finale and saw afterwards that there actually is a third season. As much as I would love to know how this crazy story ends, I cannot take this bullsh*t anymore, sorry. It is getting too tele novela style and making up new story arches without closing older ones first. It's just too annoying for me. In Germany, you can watch it on Amazon Prime instead of Netflix, so that's where I streamed it. Do you happen to know how this story ends?

@mythociate Yeah, that's probably the same where I chose to not watch anymore. After involving in your discussion I saw that there is a third season and Netflix just announced they will make a forth season for the fans...

@stine1online Yeah, I just finished the third season ... and you probably shouldn't. I mean 'people who want to watch it' probably shouldn't ... not until the 4th season is added (and possibly all the seasons to the end of the show), because it's a cliffhanger---and not one where 'there's two ways it might go,' but one where ... it's weird; you know 'Something HAS to happen,' but there're are only "faint hints" of what it might be.

@mythociate and NBC isn't green-lighting Season 4
There's a lot of premium TV out there, which means audiences don't always have the time to watch every single new episode of every single show. It's a compet...
