Gondola rides

My first gondola or cable ride was in Kashmir - Gulmarg. In those days lot needed to be done to make them user friendly.
We had to wait for the car to arrive and get in quickly as it would not wait for more than a few seconds. Similar was the situation to get off at the other end. I dared not look down as it passed the deep gorges down below. .
But my travel experience gave me an opportunity to get into sophisticated cable cars in Singapore, US, New Zealand, Switzerland and Australia.
Have you been on a cable or a gongola.

I used one in Switzerland at Jung frau By then I was used to being on cable cars.

Good to know. Yes in Manali, many many years ago when was teenager in a family trip
