My belief is that the virus was created by a group of evildoers with the intent of putting us in a state of fear.

@Deepizzaguy A pretty inefficient way of lowering the world population, if true. It's "only" kiled a few million people out of billions. And those numbers have probably already been replaced by new births.

The chances are that it's natural. New diseases emerge and mutate all the time. It's just the normal evolutionary process.
