Walking 500 steps to get things done

Just a random video I stumbled on YouTube. The woman live in Positano. She walked 500 steps to bring her grocery home. I can't do that. Going there for a holiday, maybe. It's a very beautiful place. But to live there, umm, maybe not.
Last time I went grocery shopping I didn't film it because I thought it would be boring. From the comments though, it looks like some of you wanted to see in...

500 steps is not far at all. Carrying groceries it would be bad. Perhaps a cart would be better!

I don't know how she can pull cart on those steps.

There must be a lot of stairs in your neighbourhood then, just like in the video.

Walking around the neighbourhood will be good for your health. I read somewhere there are around 2000++ steps there.

Yeah, nope! It's pretty there but it's not for me. I'd probably have a heart attack trying to carry the groceries back home.

Not for me too. I only have one perfect lung. I would have trouble to do hard work.

@prinzcy I'd be afraid I'd step in those mud puddles and drown!

I was in Positano and those steps were a killer without groceries! I walk over 10,000 steps a day. Sometimes 20,000. No groceries again.

I guess she walked 1000 steps then. Up and down. But she also went back and forth multiple times.

I loved the video as it made me feel I was on vacation. I guess if the 500 steps are up and down a stair case or hill it is a lot further than a regular flat 500 paces on level ground.

That's true. You understand it perfectly. I guess some didn't watch the video to understand this post

500 steps is a lot of steps. Plus, carrying that grocery is going to give you a good workout.

Too much workout. She went up and down multiple times too to get all the stuff. BFF said she'll just slide them down the stairs

I would love it to walk that many steps. But carrying heavy groceries i don't think i would like to. I'll just carry enough weight at a time.

She had to carry huge bags too. She can't use trolley as well due to the steps.

@prinzcy I don't go for grocery shoping daily. I just do it twice a week or so. Therefore it's not a problem for me.

I have been in Positano, it is near Naples in Italy, I love the place, but they have more steps to climb than I had in Monte Carlo. I climbed 200 steps every morning to bring my grocery home.

@prinzcy I continue to exercise, our home is on three levels. It's good for the legs and the "bottom".

i guess that's good for your physical health hah but it would be better to go with a car - easier to bring groceries and stuff.

@prinzcy Sorry I cannot look at the video till next week. We are in a mourning period and the last fast is Sunday and next Tuesday I will go back to things. I just checked what it is in miles. That is a lot of miles. I walked a lot yesterday and felt like it was a lot. Not sure how much it would have been in steps since I do not have the thing to check. It was a lot of walking I did.
