@Vikingswest1 I can see why you would be pretty sad after using the same one for 30 years to have to use another if it broke. That is nice that you use their mugs that they buy you and I am sure keep them to use when they come see you because I can see that you do not want to hurt their feelings. I am glad you like my new mug. I like it too. I am also sorry the other broke.

@Hannihar Silly story but 2 years ago at Christmas time, my son, his wife and my grandson came to visit and my daughter and her husband came over too. I was able to use all the mugs they've given to me. We had cocoa. We were talking. My son noticed that he was drinking from a mug that he'd given me. Then he said something about it. My daughter noticed she was drinking form a mug SHE bought. Then we spent the next hour or two sipping cocoa and listening to the kids talking about each mug and what year they bought it. We were all laughing and my son said he liked my mug too. I smiled and took a sip of cocoa from a plain blue mug. I TOLD you it was silly lol.

@Vikingswest1 It was not silly at all. Thank you for sharing that with me. I thought it was very moving and I would have liked to be a fly on the wall to hear the stories about the mugs.

@marlina When I make meatloaf in the crockpot I put chicken powder which is like a broth in along with onion soup mix.

@marlina I hope I have it for a long long time too but do not drink coffee in it. I drink other things in it.

@Marilynda1225 Thanks. I like it too and do not use it for coffee but other drinks. I have very few things to drink out of and since I really enjoyed the glass I broke I had to get another one and really enjoy this.
