There are many songs beginning with the letter S, I have chosen some oldies, One of them is "Save The Last Dance For Me." The song was written by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman and first recorded in 1960 by The Drifters with Ben E, King on lead vocals,
Over the years there have been many versions to this song even one by Dolloy Parton, However, the most touching rendition I found on YouTube was by Leonard Cohen when he was no longer a young man, With the audience sing-along it is a wonderful version, Please take a look and a listen. It was taped in Dublin, Ireland in 2013.
Leonard Cohen ends his second concert in Dublin accompanied by 14,003 backing singers.!Save the Last dance for me at the o2 Arena. September 12th 2013.
