Pandemic has caused restrictions everywhere. Vehicles have been given alternate days system to travel basis on even number and odd number of Cars / vehicles registration number. On the remaining alternate days the remaining vehicles to travel on the odd/even car registration number system. Strict Traffic police, violators are fined huge amount, doesn't matter whether it's emergency or urgent or not unless you produce paper works.(for exempt of fine ). Even grocery shops, mini mart, provision stores and clothing stores etc follow the same rules. This may not be the best way to tackle the situation but again there is no better ways. People are going through these sufferings. Is there any better idea from you?

That should help a bit to control the crowd. But not sure how effective it would be.

@Bryanwati Having more efficient public transport is the long term solution to traffic decongestion. But then people would like to use private vehicles in this pandemic. People should just avoid going out unless it's absolutely needed

It sounds like the kind of rules they might adopt to reduce carbon-emissions.

@Rockstarking non availability of buses and metros is also a concern. For daily commuters who uses taxi's and auto-rickshaws are a concern. With increased petrol price also rise the fares and only two people are allowed to travel.
