Rishabh Pant, wicket keeper batsman, a member of Indian cricket team presently touring England. The team played World Test Championship final against New Zealand last month and were on holiday for 3 weeks before England series set to begin. Rishabh Pant who was not staying in team hotel tested positive on 9th of July and on self isolation at his relatives place in London as he is found asymptomatic. He is due to join the team after the end of his quarantine period. One of the support staff of Indian team is also found to be covid positive. Meanwhile number of England cricket team members have also tested positive. England is presently on uptrend as far as covid infections are concerned. Situation is bound to worsen after they had number of sporting events with spectators on field without any restrictions. Hope situation doesn't get too bad.

Nice to hear from you after long time. Yes you are right he has become an important member of our team but he should be okay as infection seems to be mild.

The series beginner is round the corner so every member of the team has to be on top fitness for a tour with difficult playing conditions.
