A couple of years ago, when I was thinking about buying a new dishwasher, my eldest daughter gave me hers. But either the thingie was bad from the beginning or got "ill" after a few uses.
I am washing everything by hand but I cannot stand in front of the sink for too long a time due to my back.
Today, while I was talking to my youngest daughter, she asked me if I knew of someone who wanted her dishwasher. I said I did.
She will give it to me (although I said I should give her some money because it is new). I´m very glad

My first one lasted over 20 years. I think Tania´s must have had something wrong. I have meant to bring a technician but I don´t dare with the covid.

@kaylachan I hope so. But my only expense will be the delivery.

Yes, it is very inconvenient being without a dishwasher. We were without one for several years after ours broke down. You were lucky that your daughters will let you have theirs. We have a new one now and it is working well so far. I hope not to ever be without one again. My back also bothers me when I stand at the stove or sink for a long time.

Good for you! My husband has to do the dishes now that I can't; but his back bothers him horribly too. We hardly ever use our dishwasher.
