Hello, friends. From today on, the lockdown in the city where I live is much softer than before. And yesterday we had primary elections for president in my country. I did not go to vote but was elated that the candidates that I did not want at all had not won. I do not like the right side, but I don´t like either the extreme left. And for a long while, it seemed that the candidate of the Chilean comunist party was getting too many adherents. Still, what says it all are the votes and the other leftist candidate got over twice as many as the comunist one. He has 2 important pluses as I see it. He is not as fanatic as the extreme left is and he is very young. Friends, I´ll go and make a brunch for me. I brought a cup of coffee to my bedroom but I have to eat something solid. See you

From what side is your president ? We have no more lockdown, but tomorrow my country will start to discriminate between vaccinated and not vaccinated people

The president of my country (not my president) is a tiny bit less right than the worst right. He is an economist that takes care of his money (He is one of the richest men in Chile). He is a neoliberal and doesn´t care for justice for everyone although in his speeches one could say he does

@marguicha Neoliberalism is a plague that we buried at the end of the 1960's in France.

@marguicha , very true. They cannot make a campaign town to town and city to city due to virus. The candidates may spend much much money using TV to campaign. I have learned that a one month campaign via Tv requires a politician to pay P 5 million a month, what a huge money. It will be put to waste if the candidate does not win in the election.

I am glad that some of the restrictions have been lifted in your country and that the Communist candidate did not win.

Those of us who have always been careful will still be careful. Those that were never careful will consider themselves immortals, as usual
