I have always rescued Ill treated Dogs
Last year I saw this little Fellow in the Kennels and he was so scared and ill
I did not how old he was but when he laid his little Head in my Hand I wanted him as apparently I was the first Person he had ever come to and he had been there 4 months
I loved him straight away and I took him home I nursed him well I loved him and taught him to trust People which he does now as long as I am ok with them
I took him to the Vets and the Vet said even though he has a touch of Grey he is only 4 years old that made me so happy as I knew I would have him for a long time
But even if he would have been old I would not have regreted it as I he would have been loved and taken of for the rest of his time well he still will be for a long time
He is the best little Fellow anyone can have and he is so loving he still needs medical treatment as he has a condition but he worth it

I got my dog from an animal shelter. She is 4 years old and absolutely adorable.I also have a family of cats, mum, dad and kittens that had been abandoned behind a factory. It took alot of time to get them to trust me enough to catch them and bring them home. They are the most loving cats I have ever had!

I rescued a ill bird when I was younger as it could not fly as it had a bad leg. Me and my parents did not know what happened to it but it was limping around so we called the animal shelter so they could give it the treatment it needed. Never found out what happened but at least we know we tried to save the bird.

I've never come across such a situation but I think I will probably rescue the poor animal.
I remember taking care couple of doves though fallen down and taken them to the vet and got them first aid. Kept them in my home till they flew off when they could.

I would save an ill treated animal if i had the chance to then suffer whatever consequences afterwards. Kindness is a hard thing to bear, i cant take it when i see an animal in pain.

I like to help animals in distress as much as possible.I even try to help ones I know are being mistreated as I grew up training dopherman pinchers, german sherppards, and great danes.I find myself knowing all animals are like people they all need love.

That is so sweet! i do the same thing! that's how i actually got my cat.. because his paw got caught in the fan of a car when he was a kitten (because he crawled up in the engine to keep warm) and broke his bones is two places..i ended up taking him to the doctor and got him fixed and kept him ever since!

Bless your sweet heart. I think you should be commended for caring.
I love all animals. I will always rescue an animal in need. I rescued two cats, and they are such dears. There are not enough people in the world like you. Bless you dear.

Thank you margieanneart I have always loved Animals and I always seem to find the ones that need love and care so far every Dog I have had I have rescued from bad Homes or gone to the Kennels for them but this little Fellow was in a bad way and now he is great, it costing on Vets Bills at the moment and I can't really afford it, but he is my little Heart and I would starve to get him sorted,I am going to tell the Vet tomorrow to sort this once and for all for the little Fellow as nothing they do seems to help him and it is getting silly now that he has to keep suffering like this

Yes, Yes, Yes. My vet knew of my love for animals and asked me if I could foster care a small dog who was trying to die just for a few days or else is was going to be euthanized. It was at the humane society and would not eat or drink. I kept this skinny little dog not for just a few days but for 13 years.

Two of my animals are rescues. Prance, my long white haired diva kitty, was rescued by members of Pet Lifeline from an abusive household. When she saw me, she meowed loudly and reached her paws out of the cage as if to say, "Your my new mommy, so take me home NOW! My other one is Buddy, my Pit Bull/Yellow Lab mix. He actually found me at my daughter's birthday party. I knew the moment I put him in the truck that he would be with me permanently. I found out later that the people who previously owned him were training him to be a fighter. I'm glad he found his way to me and my family.
