Ohio dad selling ice cream with his children to assist special needs children

Joel Wegener who lives in Loveland Ohio and his wife Frieda have ten children from their marriage which is a huge family to raise. What makes the couple likeable in Loveland is that two of the ten children who are Josh,18, and his older sister Mary Kate, 21 who have Down's Syndrome have inspired their parents to start selling ice cream from a truck that they purchased from a family with special needs in April. Joel works with Josh and Mary Jane to sell ice cream from the truck around the streets in Loveland to children with special needs. The ice cream truck sales venture began in the Spring of 2021 at events in their area and driving in Cincinnati selling their ice cream to persons with special needs which has been very successful to date. My belief is that Joel and Frieda have used word of mouth as well as social media to promote their "Special Needs Treats" to their customers which has been a huge success in terms of sales. Joel is doing this service to teach his children skills for life like communications and business skills as well as raise awareness for families who have special needs children as well as adults to become successful in life.
