It's bath day for the dogs.
Blue escaped the tub and got water everywhere. Luckily, he was the last dog to bathe.
As I was cleaning up water and soap, I saw that the small book/towel cabinet was wet.
It's used to store "reading material" for time spent in the restroom.
I was cleaning it up and ran across a reproduction of the Fall 1900 Sears, Roebuck and Company mail order catalogue.
I had forgotten that I had it.
You could buy just about anything from that catalogue.
Scary stuff. Medical devices. Questionable medical devices. Horrific medical devices.
I'm still paging through it but I smell fodder for new discussions.
72 and sunny here today.

The reproduction was published in 1970. I doubt it holds much value but I've never looked.
You would be shocked at what any customer could order in 1900.
A quick check shows this book selling as low as 5 bucks.
I paid a nickle for it twenty years ago.

@TheHorse actually it did not now we have a kind of wet warmth outside and it looks like more rain is coming.

@RasmaSandra Do you often get Summer rains in the afternoons? That's how I remember Ft. Myers Beach.

Here in Florida it was boiling, but since we went shopping today, not so bad. When we got home, it stormed. Chilly hid under the bed, but came out when George or I came into the room. I watched a little t.v. with him, to provide a distraction while working here. So, that's my day so far.

@wolfgirl569 Is Monsanto paying degenerates to buy up all of the corn seeds out there? I have never had this happen before.

It's in the low 80s here. That's a bit hot for me. I went to get my hair done and then did some shopping. Resulted in lots of walking. Tired me out. But at least I was out of the house, which was a good change of scene.

@TheHorse I had to color my roots. Since I was already there I got a haircut and a blowout. I have to go there in a month or month-and-a-half to color the roots again. Man, it's expensive. $120 for roots, cut, and blowout. Not counting tip.

@much2say To hear it anywhere makes me happy. To hear it in that environment would make me extra happy.

I woke up in Japan this morning. It was really strange because I know exactly how I got here. My friend, Dr. Jill, asked me if I wanted to go to Tokyo and I said, "Sure." And here I am.
