Facebook Warps Users' Minds: No Real Harm, but Users DO Need a Reality Check sometimes

I'm more-&-more convinced that people need to ... well, they need to grow up!
Texas Democrats--when things aren't going their way in their Congress--RUNNING AWAY ... the old 'if I don't PLAY Tag, you can't tag me (nanny-nanny boo-boo!); a cousin-in-law complaining about "lack of school-choice" (I dunno; something like 'you can't send your kids to a public school whose district you live outside-of'').
But why do I blame Facebook? Because it's TOO POSITIVE (and life needs a balance there). It came up in a survey Facebook gave many of its users: I was generally positive about it; but they asked for a statement afterward, and I wrote,
"(Facebook is) Fantastic! ... and so pervasive that it convinces people (Democrats) that Real Life should be so fantastic"
It's a good thing to have a place online where we can celebrate all the VICTORIES in our- and our friends'- & families' lives; but a) most of those victories don't come without struggle & sacrifice & risk, and b) 'Good Things' aren't the only things we have to think about.

I think Facebook only appears to be positive because people are so busy trying to prove that their lives are so much better than their friends' lives. This requires a lot of carefully posed "candid" shots of their exciting adventures.

It's like if you went to a marriage-counselor, and their whole business was just 'planning renewal-ceremonies.'
Yes, the weddings & ceremonies are important (I guess they give the couple 'some ideal circumstances to shot-for'); but the ceremonies are THE TOWER-PEAKS, not the HARD-ROCK FOUNDATION!

I meant that as JUST ONE of the many ways things don't work 'the way we're told they will in the fantasy-land of grownups-burg we're all told we'll be living in when we're adults.'
