Why is it so Hard?

Why is it so hard for people to listen to others when they are trying to tell you about something that is important? I have this issue in my work place a lot. I mean things go wrong or others are not doing what they need to, so the weight falls on the next shift and when you say something it is taken as you are whiney. I don't understand how people can duck work and still be paid lol, but if someone else does it they are fired on the spot or if a mistake is made they are forever yelled at. I needed a place to vent a little without venting too much.
