Thousands of people took the street of Sydney to protest the new lockdown restrictions due to increasing number of cases, it is said to be new Delta virus varient. The participants were unmasked calling signs for 'freedom'. There is a growing anger in these restrictions people allowed to leave their houses only for valuable reasons.
Worldwide there is a growing anger against these restrictions. With the growing number of cases in our city, law is going to be even stricter.

People are very tired of lockdowns...
But they should understand what will they do of freedom if they loose their lives?
The hospitals bills are so large...that it equals some people's yearly income..
But there is also other fact that people lost their income source...and can't stay at home anymore.. this is complicated..

Freedom and Democracy have different meaning in different places. So far I have seen such protests more in US and now Australia where Governments try to keep virus infections and deaths at a lower number but well, people just fail to understand.
The same people would again protest if the virus numbers were to increase a lot.
But yes, if restrictions are way beyond what are needed, then the Government can make some modifications in the rules.

Oh, that's a familiar scene here in the US. Although I can understand wanting freedom, how about doing whatever it takes to stay safe so that we can all enjoy these freedoms once this virus situation is indeed under control. We are far from that still. With people not masking, not getting vaccinated, etc we get farther and farther away from getting under control.

People in the US protested the same way and are still protesting even though restrictions have been removed. People protest if they see someone else wearing a mask now. It's stupid! How can me wearing a mask invade their rights?

@FaruMesh I don't know why they're protesting there. People are protesting here because we had a fool for a President who told people the virus was a hoax... and people still believe that.

@yoalldudes That's right on the other side people shouldn't be the carriers of virus as well.

Yes. I think people are starting to feel bad about the restrictions. They simply don`t believe anymore with the virus because no matter how long they lockdown, it seems that the cases don`t goes down

@m_audrey6788 , Lockdown in Ph helps reduce the number of covid case. It rose up to 11,000 plus for straight 3 days, but thankful it reduced to 8,000, still high. God.

The Delta variant has already arrived in Venezuela and tonight they just announced it on the presidential chain. Just now that the president was going to lift 7 + 7 (7 days when all shops open and 7 days later to pause) It is because of the same people who ignore the biosecurity measures, and not the restrictions, until the human being gets used to taking care of himself he will not be free.

@FaruMesh yes because I have Seen Australian authorities as very strict and that's why they have controlled the situation really well but it's difficult for the people that need to earn daily to eat

If lockdown is the best means to help the country control the spread, then I'm all for it. Here, we've had restrictions in place for many months, yet the cases are still rising because of the poor way of handling the situation. That's what frustrates a lot of people here.
