We all know that Mount Kailash is the second tallest peak in the Kailash range with a height of 6638meters. It is smaller than mount Everest which is of height 8848 meters, more than 4000 people where climbed it but to date, no one successfully climbed mount Kailash. Death was the only reward when they attempt.
You all might think what does it need to do with Indian mythology, isn't it???
You might have heard that in Indian mythology, they have lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and lord shiva –the creator, the preserver, the destroyer respectively. They were together called "Trimurti".
Among them, lord shiva resides in mount Kailash with his wife goddess Parvathi. Mt Kailash is a place where earth and heaven meet.it is considered one of the reasons why no humans have successfully climbed it according to its mythology.
Mt Kailash is located near two lakes called Manasarovar and Rakshastal. Lake Manasarovar is of divine taste but lake Rakshastal is salty. Though they were near to each other the reason for their opposite characteristics could not be defined properly.
In mythology its states that the Ravanan, the king of Lanka island took bath in the lake rakshastal while worshipping lord shiva. This is considered to be the reason for its saltness.
In the case of lake Manasarovar, it is believed that bathing with its water will drive off sins.
Researchers claimed that some strange loud voices were heard from Mt Kailash.
But it is believed that there was a village called Shambhala is located where lord Vishnu would reincarnate at the end of kali yuga.
Researchers said that Agening happens faster while climbing Mt Kailash than usual while might resulting in death before reaching the top.
According to belief, the divine powers were disturbed while climbing, which has resulted in the death of human beings.
Despite all those above mention things, Mt Kailash has many mysteries and unsolved occult in it!
