Addiction to online courses

Who would have thought that taking online courses would be so addictive? I recently took an online course in Coursera called Google Data Analytics Course out of curiosity. I read an article that data analytics is the sexiest job of the 21st century, and I thought that if I would be shifting careers, I might want to try to give the sexiest job a shot. Anyway, I finished the course, and I got my certificate, but I am still on the fence if pursuing this data analyst career move is the right choice. That is for another post. What I am sure of right now is that I fell into the rabbit hole taking random online courses. I took advantage of the free trial classes in Edx and Coursera. I enrolled in their SQL, programming, and Python courses. I also brushed up on my high school mathematics in Khan Academy. And I have no idea when, or where, or how I would apply this new and exciting information that I am acquiring to my current job and daily life. Thinking about it, it doesn't sound practical. And I know for a fact that this is just a phase, but right now, I am enjoying it, and I think that is what matters.

Wow, I would love to learn Python. But it's been years since I used programming codes. I might need to learn everything again.
