On Saturday I got my second dose of Vaccine after nearly one month of first dose of vaccine. There were little side effects of it. I am feeling fine now. Hopefully, now it will be easier to face the effects of virus, if such a situation arises.
Have you taken both the doses of vaccine?

Congratulations. I'm glad to know you're fully vaccinated... especially since that means you should be protected from the worst that the Delta variant can throw at you.

@m_audrey6788 It is good to hear that things are getting better there and they could go out for dine in. It is always better to wear masks at public places to safeguard ourselves.

Thanks. Yes, in a way I feel safer and hopefully, the variants of Corona virus won't make any serious effect on me.
I think those who have not been vaccinated, will have to go for vaccination, when majority of the population will take jab.

It is good to hear that you have been fully vaccinated but you still wear mask. We also use mask invariably and do not take any chance, when we are outside.

@LadyDuck Wearing masks is a good practice to safeguard ourselves. It is always safer for all to wear masks at public places and malls etc. Malls do give protection from the virus. In the months of April and May, 2021, when the second wave of Corona was its peak here in New Delhi, we used to wear double mask to protect ourselves.

@dpk262006 masks are mandatory here, people are not allowed inside stores, malls, public places, hospitals if they do not wear the mask.

Glad to hear you are all done with it and that you are feeling fine. We completed them in May, including my daughter . . . but now we await for my son's age group as they are not eligible yet. It is a relief we have that protection, but we continue to wear masks and keep our distance.

Thanks dear. It is good to hear that you got both the vaccination long back and only your son is left because of age group. Hopefully, he also eligible for the vaccination soon. By the way how old is he?
We also wear masks all the time, when we are outside our home. It is better to take precautions.

@dpk262006 My son is 11 . . . but he will be 12 in mid November, in which he would be eligible for the vaccine then. But school starts in mid August .
I think it is better to take precautions as well. I wish everyone would see it this way .

Thanks Toni!
I think if you are eligible and vaccination is available at your place, you should immediately go for it. It takes only few minutes to take the jab and there are not much side effects.

@dpk262006 Our government has categorized who should get the vaccine first and i don’t belong to the priorities as I’m young and healthy. I have to wait for September.

Thanks Sanjeev. I took Covaxin and there is a gap of one month between first and second dose. It is good to hear that you have already taken both the doses.

I have had both doses, but it was the first dose that had me in bed for three days. Not because I was sick lol... I was non stop sleepy!! Second dose did nothing to me and I was kind of hoping to spend a few days in bed lol!

It's strange that after first dose you slept for hours together and while it was not the case, when you took the second dose. Hope you are feeling safer now. However, it would be better to take precautions, while going out.

Yes, I had my second dose of the Astra Zeneca jab a few weeks ago, so I'm about as protected as I can be now. The majority of the population are now vaccinated where I live, although I understand that about a third of people in their 20s still haven't had their first jab. A lot of younger types seem to think that they're not going to be affected, which is pretty foolish.

It is nice to hear that you have taken both the doses of vaccine and you are protected now. Yes, you are right that even the younger population should get vaccinated at the earliest. Corona virus will vanish only when everyone has been vaccinated.
