Today is a good day.
I'm thankful I got to the pool okay this morning. I found when I left the parking lot that I didn't have dashboard lights. I thought I forgot to turn on the lights. Nope. No dashboard. I called my son. He told me he had that problem with my car and to give it a whack on the dashboard. I'll try that next time I need to turn on the lights. It might be tonight since I have prayer tonight at church.
I'm thankful for the little bit of shopping I did this morning. I needed to use the insurance food card. The last time I used it early this month, it didn't take off the whole $25. The end of the month is coming soon and I didn't want to lose what was on it. I found a few things that looked good. I'm going to have one of those for lunch in a bit. Veggie egg rolls. I also bought cereal for the first time in five years. Chex cereals are gluten-free, so I got a couple of boxes of Chex cereals and Rice Krispies. That should take care of my cereal craving without ruining my diet.
I'm thankful I walked the trail this morning before it got too hot out. It's very hot now, 89 F with a feels like of 92 F. Too hot for me.
I'm thankful the notifications are finished. I enjoyed visiting you. Time to get off the computer and brave the heat for another round of the complex.

See no one thinks that we can have that kind of weather here and it happens out of the blue just like that which makes it more scary.

@marlina I don't know if I'm going to get out to walk much today. When I went out for the first round at 9, it was already starting to heat up out there. Not going to be a fun day. And worse, they're predicting severe thunderstorms tonight. We could get golf ball-sized hail and the possibility of tornadoes. We'll see what happens. We need the rain, but we don't need those storms.

I'm so thankful that it's beginning to cool down again, I don't like this heat. Chex cereal is my favorite brand, Rice and Corn Chex are wonderful! Veggie egg rolls are really good:)

I'm glad it's cooling down. I didn't see the Rice Chex. Corn is out of my diet, so I know I couldn't have that one. I got Chocolate Chex 
and Apple Cinnamon Chex. I'll try that one today. I expect it will also be one to drool over. I really like the Veggie Egg Rolls.

I know that was yesterday, but today we're in the upper 80s, hot and humid with severe thunderstorms tonight.

@just4him Most of this week will be hot. We have been spared thus far any really high temps but the humidity has been bad as per usual.

I started listening to a sad book. I didn't know it was going to be sad. Then I was sad thinking about my aunt. I'm thankful that the power didn't go out. It stormed last night. Not thankful that I had nightmares last night. My mother also had bad dreams. We think it was the storm that caused it.

I am thankful for such a wonderful life. I am thankful for all the blessings despite of this crisis. I am thankful in each everyday even though I can't get to experience sort of things just like others but still I am blessed to experience to wake up everyday with our essential needs together with my complete family. I just wished that my grandfather didn't left us too early.
