Grass is greener on the other side…. Really?

Well, I am so much a fan of this phrase, I love using it. But the funniest part is, I personally never look for the grass on the other side. Oh I should say, I am too busy growing and nurturing it on my side that I hardly pay attention what’s on the other side. I remember, while I was in high school my English teacher once said, “ this phrase is true, but it also means that you water your grass and not worry about others” How do you take up this phrase....

Yes that's correct, this phrase or the meaning of it can be used in different ways with local language too and it's quite meaningful

It only looks greener, is all! Like you, better to nurture own grass & be happy & thankful with what blessings you've got.

It often looks like the grass is greener on the other side, but it may not be so really. We do not know what actually is happening in other people's houses, neither do we know the problems in other nations. We only know that much we have heard and read in books.

Well I think the grass is greener where you water it. Plus, the grass on the other side may be greener but artificial!
