A Moment In Time....

A favourite place of mine
Now in the past
But if I wish I can plug into it again
Its a space of green grass wild grass
Where I felt very free
It was like my own garden
In that moment just all for me
An alsatian/mastin dog with his owner
Would come up to greet me licking my face
Wagging his tail
He would bark at me to let me know
To let me know he was there
His owner smiling
You are the only one he goes to
Goes to and makes such a fuss of
You are totally without fear
That I can see
I said I am very happy to see him
And he´s happy to see me.
Here there are not many gardens virtually non existant in many places.
Not talking about the few houses that have a bit of a patio which is usually cement and a swimming pool.
So that patch of wild land just across the road was my escape valve.
I was able to see that dog and its owner we both thought the same way it was moment in time to get away from those noisy places.
Photo is of our beautiful Sultan but he was not the same kind of character but yet the same in a way.

Yes he was a German Shepherd full and a few of them are German Shepherds crossed with Mastiff race which are very affectonate dogs on the whole.
The one who would come running to me was a German Shepherd Mastiff who looked much like ours only much bigger in size.
Sultan was all of a character and never forgotten.
He was very happy with us.

@just4him
We lost him due to what this breed suffers from things that have altered their genetical make up not going into that and also over breeding.
There is nothing a vet can do usually when it happens.

My kids and Hub and he actually behaved like a Sultan does as well.
He was a very funny dog we "rescued" him from very cruel owners so a tough job bringing him up at first.
You know a Sultan is the boss so to speak no?
So he thought himself the boss with everything.
