Well howdy! I about melted just taking the squirrel and cat food out (seems counter-productive to feed those two enemies, doesn’t it), so no putting tonight. I mean, it’s not even noon!!! What do you do on a hot day? Stay in a cool house and crank up some hot music!! Here’s a killer Queen (ha, see what I did there? And hang on, it’ll be here soon enough….) album cut.
#3: Seven Seas of Rhye
Nowadays, over 45 years after the fact, no one has heard this unless they own Queen II. Back in the 70s, though, this got quite a bit of “AOR album rock” airplay.
And why shouldn’t it? Absolutely scorching rocker from the early era of Queen. While it’s been swept under that Bohemian rug (if you catch my drift), it should be remembered fondly. I know I do.
