Germany

Hello Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening to all my dear mylotters I woke up in a cloudy and cool air but it keep on changing because the sun keep on appearing and disappearing. Even if the weather is like that, I still went out for a walk and had my dancing exercise in the morning and will have another walk later if it will not rain Today, I`m just curious of this one menu from an Asian Restaurant we ordered last time. They have this Chopseuy with noodles. It looks good in the picture. So, we will give it a try today for our dinner. Yipeee! I think the taste will be as good as the Chopseuy without noodles. How about you my dear mylotters? Have you tried this Chopseuy with noodles? Do you eat Chopseuy with rice? What are you having for today? I hope you can share it with me here Have a great day and Happy mylotting Photo: google

It has been a very long time, since I had chop suey, but as I recall I liked it a lot. This one was with noodles. We are having spaghetti today.

Actually it's more of noodles with chopsuey because our " pancit canton " ( chow mien noodles) basically uses the same vegetables that's used in making chopsuey with only very slight modifications on either dish. Have you tried " Mama Sita's Canton Mix " brand when you visit the Philippines? If you tried cooking Canton noodles with that product you would observe that the canton mix can also be used as a Chopsuey mix. So yes tried it and I love both, they are main stays in Philippine feasts.

Well. Yes. It is just more sauce in it than in a pancit canton I know that brand but I don`t use it to make my own noodles because it has MSG in it. I don`t like MSG in my food.

@louievill Yes. You have a point there. That`s true. Here we can tell them that they must not put MSG in it when we order

@m_audrey6788 anyway if you eat in a Chinese/Filipino restaurant try ordering Chopsuey and Canton, observe the canton veggies , it's almost identical to the chopsuey. It's like they are just fooling us and killing 2 birds with one stone but I must admit both dishes are delicious. Yes we can lessen or avoid MSG if we cook at home but when we eat out especially in a Chinese restaurant we don't know what they put in there and it's so delicious from a lariat style feast to simple take out I know it's not very healthy but I still eat it.
