Today 29th July 2021 : India had some good outcomes and some disappointments. First the good ones : ++ Indian field hockey team winning 3-1 against Argentina and progressing to the round of 8 i.e the Quarter Finals. ++Rio Olympics silver medalist P. V. Sindhu too progressed to the Quarter finals. ++Archer Atanu Das qualified to the round of 16 with a win over an ex gold medalist. The disappointment was not so impressive performances in Water Sports and the exit of a previous medal winner boxer Mary Kom exiting in the round of 16. China, US, Great Britain and the hosts Japan continue their dominance in the games and well the flagship Track and Field events are also going to start soon (or they already have?)
