Shocking news!

Hi guys. So I am sitting on my sofa, surfing the net and chatting with friends because my results are to be released today. Suddenly a speaker on the road went by saying today my district will be closed.
At first I thought about covid 19. Then I checked google news to find our MAYOR HAS BEEN MURDERED yesterday night.
This is the first time such a shocking thing happened here. When I told mother she laughed saying impossible. When I told grandma she said to not go anywhere today.
It's really shocking to find my tiny, small district in such horrible circumstances.

Yes, I heard the news of the murder as my maternal grandmother lives there..she is shocked and scared by the news as she lives alone there

And where were you when the murder happened? Did you have a grudge against the mayor?
