Enjoying A Rain Shower

Thunder has been around about an hour. Then the wind started. And finally the rain is here.
Maybe only here for a little while, but it is here for now.
It has been a few days since the last rain. And the temperatures have been crazy hot. The feels like of 102 F keeps me inside.
Love the sound of rain falling on the metal screen room roof. I hope it continues all day.

Last Wednesday, I was enjoying the rain shower in my backyard, and I was very wet.

We've had more thunderstorms so far in July (10) than we did in May-June combined. That is so different. Usually, May is the worst month for thunderstorms for us!

Good, I hope that will help with your heat. Not that hot here, but we have had no rain. Tonight though it is supposed to go down to 60...

@CarolDM I think the cold front blew in when I was down at the lake,,but everything is relative. It still says it is 91..but is not oppressive.

It has been raining here too. It is not as hot as last week, and I am happy about that. Our dog definitely didn't enjoy the hot weather we had last week.

The pitter-patter sound of rains in our rooftops is monotonous and sonorous. That's everytime I hear it, I feel sleepy.
