An update on my cousin

I am not sure whether I've already covered this or not. I do remember mentioning my cousin (with the rare mitochondrial disease) was moved to a hospice home. The other day I received a text with a picture of her and an advisement of coming to see her one last time.
That was Thursday. Today is Sunday and she is still with us (as far as I'm aware -we haven't received a call or text). Now it is just a waiting game. The last I heard she had perked up, but in these situations that isn't always a good indicator. Not to mention that she suffers so much that any good progress is a cruelty.
I am not grieving - yet. I did cry when I received the text about coming to see her. I am not sure how I will grieve but do know that does not matter at this time. We've (my cousin and I) have had our differences. I will not go see her at Hospice. I don't believe I could and I'd feel a hypocrite to see her one last time anyhow.
That's the update

Thank You.
I worry for my aunt at the moment. I know it is taxing on her to see her daughter like this and know that she's losing her. That and going out is already a stress on her.

Thank You!
I want to reach out to my aunt, and I am sure she could use it, but I feel like my words would be empty.

@CarolDM I have to admit that I partially don't do this because I don't really want to face what's happening with my cousin... The picture my aunt sent when she also sent the "come see her" message was horrible.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Just reaching out and reminding her you are there for her would probably mean a lot.

Unfortunately we are at the point where it's kinder to wish her an easy passing than for her to recover.

I'm sorry to hear this; and it's a shame that you can't see her one last time and close out the differences with her. Sending thoughts to you and her.

@LindaOHio Thank You. My worry now falls to my aunt and how she is coping. I need to call her but find myself reluctant to do so. I do not want to force her to say the words yet again. She's having to face this half a million times over.
She (my aunt) has her own health issues too.
