I am vaccinated to protect you! - this is our tag line at church.
Finally done with my second dose yesterday. I felt feverish and I had headache. I did not experience these on my first jab.
The process was so fast despite the very long queue of people. I was done in less than an hour but the waiting was longer for our vaccination card. It was sealed.
Though I am fully vaccinated, I should ensure that I am still safe and practicing health protocols. Most especially the Delta variant of this virus already hits the country.

Are you really fully vaccinated if you can still get and spread Covid and still die from it?
Just a thought...

We are still vulnerable to the virus but at least we are protected. Like what marguicha said.

The vaccine will only protect you from being very ill and maybe dying. But you can still get it. So we all have to take our other measures too.

@jobelbojel Leticia just discovered that she is covid positive. She has to be on quarantine, but hers is like a cold as she tells me by phone.

I used to wear masks and then stopped and recently I went back to wearing them not only inside but outside as well and I had got two shots. Now, I believe we are going to have a 3rd shot.

@Hannihar Yes, that is right. We should wear mask outside for our protection.

I've waited for the long cue just to be rejected to get vaccinated, not on the priority list no comorbidity not senior. sigh... hoping for the next batch again.

It takes two weeks to be fully vaccinated according to the CDC and WHO. Apparently it takes that long to go through your body and create the necearry antibodies.
