What's More important..... Being Right or LOVE....

For all the times that I have fought with friends, family, husband or anyone around I have many times given up because of LOVE, even when I knew I am right. I choose my battles wisely, but it's also because I love them. For me being right is not superior to their Love... Contrary, I know one of the person who is close to me, who never surrenders... Keeps on nagging... proves it that he is right..., even if he is wrong... I just feel, isn't love should be the driving factor....?

Hi Aanshi! Yes, the world would be a much better place if only love will be the driving force behind people's decisions and actions. Like you, I like to keep the peace so I try to be patient and understanding as much as I can. Choosing your battles wisely is very important for your own peace. I have read somewhere that when you need to choose between being right and being kind, choose being kind.

Love patiently accepts all things. It always trusts, always hopes, and always continues strong.....Love forgives all.....so yes love is the driving factor for everything.

@Aansh13 thank you....actually its a biblical verse which I've quoted it....the actual verse is 1st Corinthians 13:7-8 verse 7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never ends.

You seem to have a good restraining power. You normally gets into confrontation with anyone insiders or outsiders because you feel you are right most of the times. I can't show that restraint with anybody.

Every person is different from you. He or she may be in the right or in the wrong. Can you change them by fighting with them? How many times have you been able to change them to your side? You can try but when you can't, it is better to accept them as they are. It's my opinion. If you like it take it otherwise you may ignore it.
