Founder of benzene structure

You may know who is the founder of benzene but only few people know how benzene is formed. Friedrich August Kelkule a German Chemist not only found benzene structure but also proposed that carbon atom can form chain like structure. Actually Friedrich found the structure of benzene when he was dreaming. He saw snake all twisting and turning in motion but also he saw a snake bitted it own tail like a circular chain and he got the idea of atoms can also form chain like structure. Hundred years later polybenzenoid structure have been named as Kekulenes
