I am Italian and I don't know them. I can suppose that "Marinara" is with fish or something like that but about "Alfredo" I am really in trouble. I hope you can visit Italy soon and taste the REAL Italian food. Often the Italian food in Italian restaurant outside Italy is different (and strange) from the original.

I'm an alfredo girl myself. Here is a recipe for alfrado sauce incase anyone is interested. I've also posted the link to the source below it:
Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup heavy cream
1 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
noodles or fettuccine, cooked
Directions:
Cook noodles or fettuccine according to package directions. Heat butter and cream in saucepan until butter is melted. Remove from heat. Add 1 cup Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper; stir until sauce is blended and fairly smooth. Add to drained noodles and toss until they are well coated. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Variation: Add cooked shrimp, crab or mushrooms.
This recipe for Alfredo Sauce serves/makes 2 cups
