With three little children , siblings, joining my foster family my hands are full. So far, children over 5 years of have been taken in but this child is 3+ and his elder sister is going to be five.
Both were admitted in Nursery class of our school. Bristi has the advantage of age. She learned the alphabets and numbers quickly and she can write them as well. But Akash is struggling with his pencil. He can recognise some alphabets and single digit numbers upto 5. I have to be patient. He is intelligent but overly restless. With time , he will pick up what he is supposed to learn things appropriate for his age.
Today, I was pleasantly surprised by him . With his trembling pencil he was writing letters A to F. Till two days ago he could not go beyond A.
I accompany the two through their online classes in the morning. In the evening, I teach Macbeth to Higher Secondary girls. Can you imagine the mental jump I have to make in the process of teaching these two groups of children?

I can very well understand that.
Being a special educator and counselor, I deal with children from two years to 21 years. And I have to jump from one to another in a day's work. But that keeps me mentally fit![](/Content/images/emotes/lol.gif)
