People come and go in your life, but the right ones will always stay!!!

Yeah,I agree. Those who stay till the end in both our happy and sad days are the right ones

I don't care for the people as I know not all stay with us in life. The people who are genuine will always remain with you.

I would also say that the wrong ones will often stay, or want to stay too. Family always usually stay, rightly, or wrongly, for example. I have some I would rather let go of, but they tend to cling on to me, and keep contact, even though they are wrong for me too. I have no right people currently in my life. For me, they come in quickly, and leave just as quickly. The right people do not stay, because they are too busy being right for others too. They flip in and out of lives, and do not just want to stay as a social friend. They do what they need to do, then move on. It is mostly the freeloaders who want to stay and hang onto you for more freeloading.

I am still in touch with a few from my younger days. Frankly, it is not easy because of the fast-paced life. However, I feel comfortable contacting them when needed.

I agree. I thought I had a good friend for 20 years. I was told by everyone that such friend wasn't my friend. I discovered this because I was never in any of her pictures, important events I was never invited to but if monet was needed my assistance was sought. I learnt the hard way when I decided to study law at university. I was told that I was old and should focus on my child. It hurt so much I gasped from the mental punch in a physical way. Our friendship or whatever it was, faded into nothingness. I have obtained my Bachelor's of Law and thinking of applying to Norman Manley Law School. Further my daughter completed her degree in education and is now teaching. O have a beautiful granddaughter and loving both of them so much....I give God for a wonderful life. No this, people will come and go and those who are genuine will remain. I thank God for the few I have in my life as they have my best interest at heart and love me for who I am and not what I have.

That's what I say to my daughters. I am happy that you gave me a topic to talk to my High School students about. I have to give some talk as a counselor each month and I keep hunting for good thoughtful topics.

Hey Rashna how are you, hope your doing good long time. Yup its true people who care you, be with you during your times they will stay how ever it is. Life will be going on we just need to connect with right ones i believe.

This is so true, I remember when I was in my elementary and high school years, I often feel upset since I have met people who treated me as a second choice and not necessarily see me as an actual friend. Glad I finally found my true friends.
