I did see the green mile and as in most tom hanks movies i enjoyed it alot. I didn't think of it as anything but fiction but thought it is one of the better movies that were made from stephen king books.

it is a book written by Stephen King, you should read it, it's very good :)
I love the movie, and thought Tom Hanks was great in it.
I dont think the ending was disappointing because it was what John (was that his name??) wanted, he felt his gift was more of a burden, and nobody would ever understand him. It was quite sad really.

I have to say honestly I went to the movie, not even knowing it was a Steven King film. I really loved it, though, and at the end when I saw his name I said OF COURSE. Of course I didn't believe it could really happen. It didn't disappoint me at all.
Tom Hanks is an awesome actor. He is so versatile, I have seen him in many parts. I loved him in Big.

I love the Green Mile. Tom Hanks was very good in the movie, I wasn't disppointed at all. I think that anything is possible if you truly believe. I just saw it again the other night, I can't remember what channel it was on, but I cried all over again. Such a tear jerker.

Yeah, it was a truly inspiring movie.
I must appreciate the acting of William Clark Duncan and, my favorite Tom Hanks.
I really loved the screenplay. The story is just incredible. I have seen the movie so many times, as of now.
Everytime, I watch it, I've something more taken in.
Absolute delight of a movie. Of course the End might be a little disturbing to some people.
But, I really enjoyed watching the movie!

I saw The Green Mile and really enjoyed it. The book(s) by Stephen King were great too. They were originally released as 8 small paperbacks, a few months or so apart. That was part of the thrill of the books. Now you can buy them in one book, but I'm sure it's still ok. I think John Saul released a set of books like that about an insance asylumn shortly after King did it. They were pretty good too.
Happy reading!

I found the movie fascinating and fantastical! I don't think it was meant to be believable. You were supposed to suspend belief and just imagine the possibilities. I don't think there was any other way for it to end. He had soaked up too much evil to survive.
