What are things you do that are "crafty?" Many people do artsy stuff, because it's calming, and provides an escape from the daily grind.
Personally, I craft for fun and profit. I own an Etsy shop, where I sell the scrunchies that I've made for fun. The crocheting part gives me something to do with my hands when I'm watching TV, and makes me feel productive, when otherwise I would just feel like a lump, sitting there watching tv. When I'm done with scrunchies, I list them in my shop, so that I can hopefully profit from this cute little hobby I have.
I invest in tons of different yarns, and have learned to work with Velvet (probably my favorite), because velvet makes the softest scrunchie!
Tell me the crafty things you do, and what you do with your final products!

Good to meet you. My daughters and I are very much into arts and crafts. And we do sell our stuffs if we get buyers for them. I find them relaxing and it's always good to make some money out of our hobbies.

@arunima25 awesome! I'll have to take a look and check them out! my mom was into zentangle for a while. I have never been artistic enough for that, but I love coloring mandalas. It's so relaxing!

Thank you! I've been making scrunchies for a while now. I haven't had many sales on etsy yet, but my day job is having a craft fair later this year and I hope to do well there.

I'm not very crafty. I tend to either take a bath, play Pokemon go, or type here or somewhere to do something productive with my hands.

yeah, I have to keep my hands busy. If I'm not crocheting while watching tv, I'm usually on Twitter, or here, or playing a game. Playing a game usually wins, unfortunately, when I'm not crocheting, so I try to keep myself more productive.

What do you like to do, if not crafts? I've found that people who say they aren't crafty are usually creative in some form or fashion.

That's so nice!! I like to paint digitally and I also make scented soy wax candles for a living, I sell them in my city and hopefully I'll be able to open an online shop soon, I'm working hard to do make it come true someday

@thepickybookworm omg I knoooowww!!!! when I started doing this last year we were only like 3 businesses in my city but now it's just full of them and they're everywhere, it's very difficult to stay updated and see what everyone else is doing, sometimes I get discouraged but I really want to do well with this since I love it a lot

that's amazing! I love candles! I taught myself to make them, and am going to have them in my job's craft fair later this year. I also sell custom requests through my website. Candles are hard to get going, because the market is so full of people selling them, and I don't want to add more competition when I only do them for fun. My scrunchies and proofreading businesses are what I really want to take off.
