We created a quiz for the endurance riders - can you recognise your own horse?

In a comment to Ptrikha_2 (@ptrikha_2), I mentioned that, for fun, on the endurance riding website, we put up a series of photos of the hindquarters of various horses. The members had to try to identify each horse.
We had done something similar once before but using horses’ heads. Using photos of the other end made it a bit more difficult. We are thinking now of putting up photos of the lower halves of the horses and asking riders to guess who the horses are. There are no prizes but it creates a lot of interest and comments.
The collage shows some of the hindquarters that we used. Some people could identify their own horse but not all. Sometimes the colour is a clue. There are not many pinto/skewbald/piebald/paint horses competing but there are a lot of the more common colours.

It can be difficult but I feel those who are working and playing with their horses won't find it difficult

That is interesting and from the collage I can see how difficult it can be,

It was fun for us to see the riders chatting back and forth - one quite convinced it was a certain horse and another agreeing with her, or not!

I would think that would be pretty easy, as most people spend a good bit of time grooming their horses. It kind of surprised me that people didn't know them.

Thanks for starting this. This would be such an exciting quiz. I think apart from colors, certain marks on the body of horses or some patterns might also be helping the owners.
Yet one could expect some funny outcomes as well!!
Bravo !!

What fun! I think most should be able to identify their own horse.

Some must take a lot more notice than others as they guessed nearly all of them.
