Are you a fool?

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
What exactly does it mean to be a fool. Because I don't want to be a fool. It will be soo embarrassing.
What about to become wise? When?

Part of life is taking the bad with the good and knowing how to use it.

@kaylachan , correct for they think they are right despite wrong especially in terms of love. Many landed in a wrong love. They fooled themselves but such kind of fools were once enjoying their freedom and liberty to live in his or her freewill.

In many cultures, the owl is reputed to be an embodiment of wisdom but, in Hindi, the word for 'owl' is 'ullu', which also means 'fool'. It may be the wisest thing to pretend that you know nothing .... but who am I to say? I'm just an owl!

@Koningjoy I only know a few words. I happen to know 'ullu' because I am an owl and I like to know how other people call me. I am also interested in cooking so need to know some of the Hindi words for herbs and spices and other things!

This makes sense to me.
Smart people deceive themselves by all kinds of illusions, money or power related, of course.
Fool people don't care, that's because they're wise, not street-smart. Wise here means they know these man-made concepts are lies or fairy tales, they're not valuable. It's like trying to catch moon in the lake, or pick flower in the mirror.
Here this out:
Before the sacrifice, a cow eat the best food, it's covered with silk and shower often. But when the sacrifice starts, it will be led into the temple to be slain. At that time, if it wants to return to the wildness and just be a happy lonely cow, is it possible? NO.
