Unmotivated / myLot

This is how I describe what I'm feeling right now. I find myself being unmotivated to go to work. It feels like the environment is suffocating me. I already informed my Manager that next week I will be tendering my resignation because the environment is getting toxic and I feel like I am not growing personally. I told him that I am also working out on things to get ready to go abroad. But he tried to persuade me to reconsider resigning if I can manage my preparation while still working with them. I told him that I will consider it but I think I already made up my mind the moment I informed him about my resignation plan. I just wanna be free from this toxic working environment.

Welcome to mylot, I don't think it will be a good decision to resign without a job in your hand. Yes you can look job abroad while working in your same country. You have to learn to live with these toxic conditions nowadays. Have a great day.

I've been considering this a lot of times. But this environment is consuming me. Going to work became extra exhausting. I haven't tendered my resignation yet though. I'm still searching for homebased online job. Hope I will be hired soon. So I don't have to deal with workmates anymore.

@Milottt Every work has it's own difficulties and pressure. It's not easy to get highly paid online jobs these days. Try hard, Best Wishes

Lots of them. I hope I'll figure out which one to focus to. But I think the first priority is the business me and my fiancé has started building up.

I won't advice you to resign , you need to search a job then leave this one. I also have a toxic environment at work, my boss doesn't have a good attitude and behaviour except for his favourites that makes me demotivated and makes me to resign but I don't because I know I won't be able to get a job at this age of the same or higher salary. I am searching a job and once I will get a suitable job I will leave the job presently I am at.

Thank you for the advice. I somehow figure out things now. I haven't tendered my resignation yet but I'm planning to within the week. And after that I still have to render 30 days before I leave the company. Me and my fiancé are currently conducting a pilot run for our business that I will manage full time after I leave my work. I just hope everything will work out.
