Vaccine and adverse effects

It's been 4 days since I received my second dose of Covid Vaccine. Mine was from Pfizer. Few hours after my first jab, I can barely move my left arm where the vaccine was administered. I felt sleepy and tired so I just took enough rest until the next day. After 48 hours, I'm back to my usual grind. As for the second dose, I felt what I observed during my first jab but this time I felt like I'm about to have fever. I just took one paracetamol and I recovered. Aside from those observation, I'm all good. Thank goodness. Btw, the vaccination center that I was assigned to was doing a really good job in keeping the process fast and systematic. I wish the other vaccination center here in our country will learn from them. From what I heard, some vaccination centers are not really that systematic and that vaccinees are falling in line for almost 12 hours just to get vaccinated.

My experience was similar. My husband and I had the Astra Zeneca (Oxford) vaccine. We were both tired and aching after the first one. Flu like symptoms, I suppose, which we were told we might expect. The second dose gave us no adverse effects at all. It's been about month since our second and we've had no problems since then.

I got sinovac for the first dose last July and it had no side effects at all on me, but my father actually felt his hand a bit sore for 3 days. Next schedule is in 2 weeks from today.

My fiancé's vaccine is Sinovac also. He felt soreness in the injection site for almost 48hours for both doses. All the best to your second dose!

Good to know you had your vaccine doses completed. A positive note on the inoculation system in your area. My health center also provided a methodical system that kept the citizens feel safe. Sharing the same feeling for all the other vaccination centers.

I had my first shot of Pfizer 3 weeks ago and didn't have any side effects at all. I'm scheduled for my 2nd this week and I'm hoping I feel fine. Glad you're okay after having some side effects.

Thank you. Wishing you well on your second shot! No worries with the side effects since the're very manageable and after at most 48hours your body will be back to normal.

It took me 3 days to recover on my first dose and only 1 day from the adverse effect of the second dose. My vaccine came from Astra Zeneca. As senior citizens, my husband and I were given priority, and the whole process took under an hour to complete.

Glad to hear you had a smooth process experience. I know someone who's mother is a Senior Citizen but they waited and fall in line for almost 12 hours. Thankfully my fiancé's father who's a Senior Citizen also has a smooth vaccination process experience. His was Astra Zeneca too, but I didn't hear he felt any adverse effect.

It depends on the LGU how to facilitate roll out.

I agree. The LGU really plays the most important role in this vaccination roll out.
