We have had Strawberry weasel ( his full name lol ) for about a year now and I just kinda think he might be lazy. and does anyone know if it would be too late to introduce another ferret.

thanks, My daughter named him when she was 4.. it fits him lol... and our cats name is Milkshake.. so we have Strawberry and Milkshake. lol.. Im thinking Im going to get him a little freind this spring ( in the winter he is in the Garage becuase I cant take the smell it is heated but he only gets about an hour or two a day of human interaction....and I would be worried that if I put anohter in with him and without us " watching" something might happen... but once he comes back in the bonus room.. We'll try it.. and also. the reason for outside is in summer months I can open the windows for fresh air in bonus room and in winter I cant.. and I CANT stand for my whole house to smell like ferret.. the vet said his musk is one of the strongest she's smelt.. he has already been de-scented lol he's just a stinky SOB lol

Ferrets do sleep a lot, but when you get him out he should be full of energy. It's not too late for another ferret. I had a few I got at 3-4 yrs of age who were alone before they came to live with me. I only had a problem with 1 of them, and within a few months he eventually got along great with everyone else. Ferrets generally love another ferrets company!
