How MyLot helped make me an extra $10.50 or so yesterday alone!

I've had some recent issues with MyLot and my computer recently. There's an intermittent MyLot glitch that "will not be named," plus my computer has been freezing for no apparent reason (even when I don't visit naked lady, political, and bomb building sites).
But yesterday things worked in my favor. MyLot and my computer worked fine, and I wound up making more than $10.50 overall. I hadn't noticed the tip jar that had been put out while we playing music at a driveway concert last night. I wound up bringing a wad of $1.00 bills home--an unexpected bonus.
I even got to play some guitar and sing lead, something I don't do often at these driveway concerts. How was your day yesterday, financial and otherwise?

Not too bad. I got an $8.50 refund from an early subscription cancelation so myLot helped me make $8.75 yesterday!
Glad you had a good time. Tips are a bonus!!!

@TheHorse — I should have known better than to watch that movie when that was the memorable quote from it. (FYI, Walter Brooke, who uttered that line, later went on to play the D.A. on the TV series The Green Hornet. You’re welcome.)

How in the world did you make so much money on mylot in one day? What were you chatting about?
Congrats on your concert and tips. I wish I had a way of bringing money in. My daughter comes home from her job at the winery and dumps a pocketful of tips on her bed.

@TheHorse I would jump on that. I think a lot of people would rather receive counselling over the phone or zoom. I am looking into getting counselling and hoping I can get it over zoom so I don't have to drive an hour, visit for an hour, drive an hour. That's 3 hours out of my day!
The only job I thought might be doable for me and of interest to the community is dog walking or pet sitting. A lot of people got pets during the lockdown and now they are returning to work and school and their pets will be alone after having someone around at all times. But I think someone already started a business of that sort.

My Saturday was dismal, financially speaking. My weekly Nebraska Income Tax Refund arrived and it was too small. We need to talk about that the next time you're in Lincoln...Or have you officially moved the capital of Nebraska to San Fransisco yet? Either way, we need to talk about it.

@TheHorse I'm kind of old-fashioned about chump change like that......I know it's really nothing now but when I was your age, a few hundreds of thousands here and there was a lot of money, so I have a sentimental attachment to it.

@xander6464 It's like playing $100 video poker in Reno. It's still more fun to win.

It was a rainy morning but it cleared for a short time and I drove to town to do some shopping. I bought some special things for the dogs and my total was 193 dollars.
I got gas on the way home and paid 4.09 a gallon for 87 octane, another 30 dollars.
I checked the mail when I got back and saw my utility bill of 97 dollars.
MyLot COST me 320 dollars yesterday.

@TheHorse
I have two old girls in their last days.
I bought them some people food so I can spoil them.
I'm cooking their meals now.
Yes. MyLot helped cost me 320 bucks.
But seeing the dogs enjoying bacon and eggs and snacking on jerky made it worth it. They get pork tenderloin tonight.

@Vikingswest1 Ah, we have to spoil our fur friends, especially as they get older. My horse lived a life of luxury.

I went school shopping for the kids yesterday, which means that I am now financially ruined. At least everyone will have new underwear!

@spiderdust I think Target is a level above Walmart and the Dollar Tree. The nine dollar shorts I bought at Walmart are about to fall apart on me.

@TheHorse Minecraft, Animal Crossing, and Pokemon, plus Hanes for the ones who have outgrown the cartoon-designs-on-underwear stage. The soon-to-be Kindergartener was disappointed that there were no Super Mario Brothers underpants in his size, but was happy with the Spiderman pajamas we found at the thrift store.
We did not buy underwear at the thrift store, however, but purchased brand new packages at Target.
