Well, here we are….near the top of my list of favorite songs by The Bee Gees. If you know this song, you see what I did there. This is a longtime favorite. I remember buying the 45 when it came out in 1975. So, for your dining and dancing pleasure, here’s today’s Bee Gees song.
#3: Nights On Broadway
Arif said to me, “Can you scream?”
— Barry Gibb
So that’s how we got the “screams” and the falsetto in this song. Producer Arif Mardin asked Barry to do something to make the song more “exciting.”
I’d say Barry accomplished the stated request quite well.

LOVE IT! Another bit of trivia -- It was originally to be called Lights on Broadway; but they felt that Nights on Broadway was more "adult".

Great song and really like how they mixed the disco with their soulful voices. You picked a winner here!

The Bee Gees are on my list for Top Most Awesome Brothers Groups. The Osmonds and the Jackson 5 are also on my list.
