The story that comes from Fort Myers Florida is kind of strange since the report does not mention how many teenagers were in trouble swimming in the Caloosahatchee River near the Midpoint Bridge on Thursday night. Apparently one eyewitness contacted the Fort Myers Police Department to report the incident while the teenagers who were swimming in the river needed to be rescued. One of the teenagers managed to swim to the shores to get help from a stranger who was willing to assist the police who mentioned that the other teens were stuck on a support beam. The male stranger used a speedboat that he owned to travel to the area where the other teens were located so he could get them aboard his boat to take them back to the shore where they were thankful that they survived their brush with a tragic ending. The police officers then returned all of the teenagers back to reunite with their parents who are likely to lecture them on the dangers of swimming on a river during the late afternoon hours. This sounds a lot like one of the cartoon stories that appeared on the Super Friends cartoon series with the Wonder Twins Zan and Jayna.

I am sure that the teens learned a lesson of going into a river near nightfall.

I live in a coastal area and my story is very sad. I have a friend who drowned 18 years ago on one of the beaches on the coast since he left without his parents' permission because his parents have a religion that allows them to be at parties So he ran away with some friends and tried to do some stunts and got tangled up in a mangrove that was right in front of where he jumped into the water and couldn't survive.

You are right since they have the belief that they are real life Iron Men who are invincible.

You are teen since a state trooper who worked with the Mississippi State Patrol when I was employed by Domino's Pizza mention in his safety classes that teens believe that they are going to live forever.
