Spent Too Long Outside

Was outside working on another project in the garden. A breeze was blowing. I knew it was hot. Feels like temperature is in the triple digits actually.
I did not plan to be out so long. I thought I was going to pass out from the heat. As I was walking to the deck to come inside, it hit me. I felt dizzy and nauseated and a bad headache all at once.
Made it inside and got some cold water. Sat down with a cool cloth on my forehead. Feeling better now. You have to be so careful in this heat.
Photo is mine.

Good, you're okay. On such a beautiful day, time passes quickly.

@oahuwriter When the temps are in the triple digits, it is hot.

The heat outside is intense. That's why you feel dizzy and dehydrated. Be careful.

I didn’t know I’d make it from my car to the house putting the groceries up! This humidity is so stifling to me with my asthma.
Short report: no golf tomorrow night unless they’re very wrong about the forecast….or unless they move the course to an air-conditioned building in the next 23 hours.
You stay safe, ya hear?????

@CarolDM — one of the other players is pretty sure there won’t even be a tournament tonight, given that the heat advisory runs until 9 PM (and we start at 7).

I agree with you since extreme heat can be deadly.

@CarolDM You are welcome since the local news media remind their viewers about staying outside during an extreme heat warning.

That is a beautiful photo! I love taking photos of clouds..
Gardening is very rewarding, but we need to be careful when out in the sun..

I have heard that drinking cold water while you are real hot is the worst thing you can do.I have heard that it will put your body in shock and can hurt you.
