August 10 - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from sunny, hot, and humid Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. It's been a good day with plenty to be thankful for.
I'm thankful I decided not to go to the Y this morning. Heavy fog blanketed Green Bay. I could barely see across the street at 4 AM so I knew I couldn't see to drive. I'll be there tomorrow. I need it after missing two days in a row.
I'm thankful for getting the notifications finished before leaving for the hospital. It's been light here lately. Still, I'm always happy to know what you're doing in your corner of the world.
I'm thankful the hospital appointment went fast. I was out of there before 11 AM. 
Then I went to my son's and picked up more boxes.
I'm thankful for the work I did on Vendetta. I worked on another five chapters, two more subdivisions. I've lost count now on how many chapters, but close to 50. It's also adding to my page count. All I can tell you is that if you read Thread of Evidence, you won't be disappointed. At least I'm not.
Okay, that's my day. I did not get as many steps today. With it as hot as it is, it's unbearable to walk out there, though I did get some walking done. It should cloud over soon. We're in for more storms tonight.

It was pretty good, thankful I got my check from the insurance company, and that I got a whole bagfull of stuff from Target for 5 bucks. Glad you are happy with Vendetta, catchy title.

It's miserable here, too. So I completely understand how you feel. Still went out to play Pokemon go, but didn't hang out on the portch like I might've in the past.

Thank you. Me too. Only about an hour and a half and that was because I failed to call ahead to have the medication ready when I got there. The drip only took half an hour. Much better than the three hours it used to be before I got on the fast track.

Loving the cover of Vendetta!!
It's stinking hot here so I'm just hanging in the a/c. I'm thankful that the thunderstorm we got yesterday wasn't bad and hopefully the one predicted for today won't be either.
I had to charge my Fitbit and forgot to take it off the charger. Now I'm losing all the steps I got in so far this morning.

I enjoy reading about being grateful, sometimes we aren't as we should be. Glad your book is almost finished. I am grateful I finally got an appointment to see Jim. Thankful for reasonable health. Thankful that things are as well with us as they are. Could be so much worse.
