I'm starting to wonder if my doctors are trying to kill me. LOL

Yesterday I got a visit from my primary care doctor. She said I need to practice more breathing on my own without the oxygen machine. I have been on it 24/7 since 2016. And she put my level on it from 2 liters to 1.5. She said I was getting too much carbon in my blood and lungs. I know she is right but I had a restless (more) night trying to breath. Then today, the foot doctor came out to trim my toenails because when you get this fungus the nails grow so thick that normal clippers no longer do the job. and your feet hurt. He was clipper my big toe when I get a sharp pinch on the toe next to it. I yelled owe and he glanced at it and said he hadn't done anything to that one. He resumed and again sharp cutting pain. I told him it was getting pinched or cut but again we couldn't see any cut. Finally on the third pain I said enough and we saw blood. It was cut but he said it wasn't bad , stuck a bandaid on it and put his tools away and left. It still stings even though my daughter put Neosporin and another bandaid on it. I think it's a conspiracy ?

Oh! I'm sorry to hear about all your trouble, from your Oxygen and to your toenails.

@bunnybon7 My mother-in-law has also a machine for sleep apnea. And she had lots of pain in her body. I wish, I can make a magic spell to make her feel better.

There is no excuse for this type of treatment.

Sounds painful. I hope your body adapts to the new level of oxygen, you've been on 2 for so long that could be the reason why. Sorry about your foot, though.

That foot doctor has a horrid bed side manner. He should have apologized.

yes. He didn't even bother to apologize. Just acted like he done nothing wrong. I think it will be a very long time before I let them send him back.

First cut off your oxygen, then another fella cuts on your toes. Yup, I surmise that Captain Hook had something to do with this

@kobesbuddy true. Problem is he is the only one so far in that Mobile physicians group that does that. So unless they finally get a new one before the next 3 months is up, I may just have to suffer. I know she is trying to help with the oxygen, it's just so hard to stick with it. Like a catch 22 suffering on my part either way. I can't have everything.

now you see my world huh? She didn't cut the oxygen off just insisted on having it cut down. The toe is a bit better today but now I can't trust to have him back.

@bunnybon7 I'd never let that insensitive slob cut my toenails, ever again! She was trying to help, while he was being a jackass!

Oh I don't think he did it on purpose but when I first said ow ow ow, he should have stopped longer to take a closer look at it. He stopped a second and glanced at it then continued and even second time he did the same. Only on the 3 rd time I yelled and there was some blood did he stop to fix the problem.

Primary care doctor has good reasoning for her actions. But the foot doctor does not.

Your foot doctor needs another course in bedside manner. That was rude.
