Got colored again and back here and there

I've been around the site a little more again recently. I still have a lot to get done before my cupboards arrive next wed so it will be hit and miss a while but today we have another appt for hubs out of town so I'll have time to be here once e get there.
I bought two tubes of permanent hair color a purple and magenta. I thought I'd have more of my grey showing but that's only on the top with the magenta which looks pink. The rest is mostly purple. Next time I might make sure she leaves some grey on the back too. Maybe she can't use the foil in the back cuz it's cut short, but then she could comb it in differently. I might also try patches of color.

@MarshaMusselman The important is that your husband likes and agrees. I know that my husband would divorce should I do something like that.

@LadyDuck my husband wouldn't divorce me as I pay all the bills and do most of the work since he's disabled to a degree.

I really like the top for that reason but the rest is fun too and my husband didn't freak out not sure the few at work when we stopped in last night.

My previous hairdresser gave me blonde highlights. The purpose was to disguise my white streaks, as blonde hair. Now, I'm satisfied with my natural color and Jay likes it much better:)

I've been happy with my natural color for the past twenty years but wanted something fun. I don't have time to for fun things into my days or weeks normally. It's not for everyone.

Aw this reminds me of working in salons..I miss it so and I LOVED to frost and do highlights. Was good at it too. You are so young looking Marsha!

Yes but it won't post. I showed a front view with the back in a mirror. I just remembered another way I can try it. I'll let you know if I get it to upload.

@Hannihar I don't know how long it will stay but may let you know after it washes out grows out. I might do something with the two colors again but might do splashes of color rather than covering the grey almost completely.

I've been waiting and wanting to have it done since the last time. Is a bit more than I expected but it will grow out and it is fun. I finally got the okay from a manager as a younger person there has three colors in her hair. They can't allow it with some and not others.

At least then they hold the color better. You can also do it with grey hair.

Doing so would be fun I'm sure. I got the idea from other grey haired ladies that did similar things with pink or purple or both.

I'll let it grow out until I try it again. I won't be recoloring the roots I don't think.

I went to the salon already last year once they were allowed again. My salon only had one person working on her side. We clean their windows also.
Happy hair, I like that. And I'm happy about having happy hair.
